I am designer/maker from south-east england whose practice is influenced by design history and philosophy. The post cold-war world has lead to design being very much a melting pot of ideas in which virtually anything goes. My physical work reflects the abstract and chaotic struggle to find clear ways of thinking about making objects and designing; whilst trying not to resort to basic materialistic or modernist ideas. I aim to take these more research based ways of designing and combine them with an interest in process and functionality.
